The term "raid" comes from Twitch streaming. When streamers are about to finish their live video, they pick another streamer to send their viewers too and surprise them. All of a sudden, a big wave of people now join the new stream to offer support and encouragement. It's fun and a quick way to give a hand to someone who might need it.

A #Believe Raid borrows from this concept where everyday, the amazing IG Live with Angela will pick someone who could use a little encouragement today. We'll send you a daily email with a link to an Instagram post from that person. Then we all go show some love, kindness, and encouragement. 

Are you up for paying it forward and giving love to someone who could use it today? If we can so easily dish out hate online to people we don't know, why not flip it and love on people we don't know instead?

Martin Luther King famously said, “Those who love peace must learn to organize as effectively as those who love war.”

There's unfortunately a lot of negativity in the system and that prevents amazing people who want to serve from getting started. They're worried that people will judge them. They're worried that nobody will support them. They're worried that they won't make it.... And so they stop. But one word of encouragement, maybe your word of encouragement, could be the difference between that person giving up or continuing with their dream.
